Hi John,
I see that an ECG125 is a replacement for the HEP170. It's a standard Si
rectifier with 1000 PRV and capable of 2.5 A.
Also NTE lists it (NTE125):

I don't see any references to IR170, but I didn't look that hard. Good Luck!
