Re: SO-50 Operation

Actually  SO-50 is on whenever some control operator turns it on, I don't
think it has to be in the daylight.  Basically what happens is they turn
it on
and it stays on for 10 minutes and goes back off. 

Also, it does not transmit all the time.  WOrks like a repeater, the 
downlink only comes on when somebody transmits on the uplink
(with 67 Hz  P.L.).
