Re[2]: Cute-1 frequencies
Hello All,
I'm Kazuya Konoue, CubeSat "CUTE-I" project team.
Our CUTE-I is still active.
The downlink frequencies are
CW beacon: 436.8375 MHz (Always Active)
FM Packet: 437.470 MHz (Active over Japan)
CUTE-I starts downlinking packets when it receives 'Send Packet' command
from a ground station. And CUTE-I stops sending packets
after a certain time, up to 25min.
This is aimed at making sure to turn off the FM transmitter
and thus saving energy in the battery. Currently only we command CUTE-I
to send packets, so CUTE-I sends packets just in Japan footprint.
Under the license given to us, only our station is permitted to
send commands to operate CUTE-I.
Therefore FM packets is active only over Japan.
Details of CUTE-I is shown at following website.

Sincerely,
Kazuya
