Re: Rx/Tx Equipment for ECHO

Space porto.

If i had to send a porto into space (with transponder in it ) it would be
a Kenwood TH-79a.
I`m (dis)using one for a few (5) years like no one uses his porto.
Next to my key`s i alway`s have it with me , on my bike , in the boat on
water , in my kite at a hundred meters height , sumer ,winter and more.
I`t tested it like Kenwood wanted to.

Two `problems` :
the `known` falling away display
and the mechenical construction of the knobs (rotary and volume).
But even during loss of control deu to these problems it always kept on
working!
Aspecialy when the mechenical load on a th-79 is low there is no problem.

The G test was good aswel , when the line of my kite broke.....
