Anyone with old callbooks?

Al Diem, who worked on OSCAR-1, was originally listed in the February 1962
issue of CQ magazine as havng the callsign W3LSZ/6. I've been in touch
with Al, and he remembers that he may have had a full Area 6 callsign
(possibly KR6AD) sometime between that time and 1965.
If someone has a callbook from between 1962 and 1965 can you take a look
and see if you can come up with Al's callsign? He lived in Silicon Valley
(Santa Clara section) at the time.
Thanks,
Emily
