Re: Beacon Rate on ISS



Emily,
Every 15 seconds is excessive and does nothing but create a higher noise
floor for everyone else to contend with and is BOP...but I think the nature
of the beast makes people do such things.  I remember reading that the
beacons should be no less than every 2 minutes.
I have my beacons on my Igates set at something like once every 300
minutes....figuring a satgate is really there to receive transmissions from
the sats for other folks trying to make it.
