847 pre amp power via coax was Re: ICom 706 use on Sats



Menu #29 for VHF, # 30 for UHF  set to ant, then check coax, you will see
+12 voltes DC  when set to ant, and the rf-amp is selected from the front
panel. Int is to activate the internal preamp.
