RE: RE: AMSAT-BB forums

A supreme court justice in the 1960's said, "one man's freedom ends at the
next mans face."

Ie., you're only as free as long as you're not punching someone in the face,
and on this board, I feel like I've seen the verbal equivalent. I know
there are a lot of emotions; we got to stick together, it's a small hobby,
remember the old slogan, united we rise, divided we fall... All this
contention will accomplish is to disable AMSAT from making any progress.

So would Hitler and Stalin,
Unless you didnt realise it you woke up in the USA today, here we say
what we wish
to say. Its called freedom of speech. If you dont like it Tough.

Also , Opression of discussion is usually used to control people.
Sometimes it is used
simply to obfuscate what is really going on. Openess is the one and only
way of keeping
things on the table and honest.
