This file:
http://www.amsat.org/amsat/ftp/images/AMSATlogo/official-scan.gif
was scanned from the official paperwork submitted to the Trademark
Office in the U.S., so it's the closest thing to an official definition of the
AMSAT logo.
The logo has been redrawn many times over the years, because official
artwork wasn't easy to come by. I know I redrew it myself a few times
for the web site, and I copied the versions I liked the best. My version
does not resemble the official version very much.
