Hello Steve,
Sure, pack up that IC-706MKIIG and bring it along.
HF should be OK for space craft to space craft comms as well as the
space craft to planet/moon comm links.
I suspect that earth to spacecraft comms is also possible higher than
the MUF.
Keep in mind the OSCAR HF uplink and downlink HF freqs like 10M and 15M.
