The best ...well I am not sure about that but certainly an option is
Fodtrack Ver.2.7 .

This is a great program that will run the rotors and tune many radios
for Doppler.
The interface is simple to construct, inexpensive ( less than $25.00
Canadian )and works great.
The last revision was made in August 2003 that allows for programming
CTCSS tones for SO-50 operation with the FT-736R. The newest version can
be downloaded from http://www.amsat.cl/fodtr_1.htm as I checked and the
Amsat NA site still is offering version 2.6 that does not include CTCSS
tone control of the FT-736R.
Anyway another option for you ....... There are many choices but this is
certainly one that is worth having a look at.

Good luck with the new rotors and look forward to hearing you on the
satellites.

Hi All,

I am thinking of purchasing a Yaesu G-5500 Al/Ez rotor together with its
computer interface (GS-232A). Can anyone here tell me which is the best
software to use for satellite tracking as well as to control this
particular rotor?

Thanks a lot
