How about the club putting half of the member's yearly dues back into 
satellite production. I find it odd that not one penny of the 
membership dues goes toward building satellites.  Unfortunately the ALL 
of money goes to club expenses. There is no mention of this in the 
AMSAT Promo materials.

I guess it is not a very good sales pitch:

"Join AMSAT..... oh by the way not one penny of your yearly dues goes 
towards building a satellite!"

The opening comments by the Company that does the AMSAT's yearly audit 
say's it all. It can be read online.

AMSAT needs to change the way it does business simple has that.
