I bet the facts are that electronic option does not save us money unless
we do away with paper altogether.
There are those who want to get paper.  I would rather get fancy color
photo's,
more in depth information, etc. and have it on the web.  But let's assume
that is 1/3 or 1/2 of the members want paper.  When you cut our already
small circulation of a few thousand in 1/2, the printer/shipper raises the
heck out of the incremental cost.  I would hazard to guess that we are near
the bottom dollar we can get period right now. We should investigate and get
the
real number but I bet it comes out that we would in fact not save much
money at all if we have those that insist on getting paper (which is
inevitable).

It would of course be easier to argue about this if we had real figures
from our printer.  What would it actually save us if we cut our circulation
in (say) 1/2.  TAPR PSR went the way of the do-do and it is electronic
ONLY.  I bet this option is the only one that would save us money.
