Gerald, it is far easier to make the radiator square with alternate corners cut
off.  The idea here is make one side higher in resonance than the other, longer
side, centered at the wanted frequency.  Cutting alternate corners does just
this in uniform manner!  Simplicity above all else!   Cliff K7RR
