cheapy sat tracking program - WARNING ***********

Gabriel F6DQM has asked me to forward the following e-mail -----

I am the author of Sat_Explorer and I have been told from different OMs
about what appears on F1ORL's WEB site.
What is sure is that this problem has nothing to do with my programs
which are clean from any virus before been made available on the
Internet.
It seems that the server "club-internet" which hosts the F1ORL's web
site, adds some code inside html pages to propose a particuliar software
IBIS LLC to be installed on your computer. I know nothing about this
software. I don't know if it is dangerous for your computer. It seems to
be a search engine ?
Since this incident, F1ORL has reloaded all its original pages on his
site and the problem has disappeared. This proves that the problem was
due an external operation on the html pages of F1ORL (either the server
manager or a hacker).
Hope that Sat_Explorer helps you during your satellite trafic. Note that
release 2.5 has been made available on the F1ORL's web site. Without any
virus but probably not without bugs !!!
Please rediffuse this message on the amsat so that all OMs are informed.
Gabriel

   --------------------------

I downloaded SAT_EXPLORER V2.4 in November, and didn't notice any
problem. However my browser may have been set up NOT to question
cookies. At the suggestion of Don KD4APP, I have run SPYBOT. This
program did not show any cookies that were associated with F1ORL's site.
I have just downloaded V2.5, and there were NO problems.
