My experience is the auto control of the radio is very troublesome, regardless of the radio or software used.  Also there are many times that you want to manually tweak the radio during a pass and if it's being controlled by the software then you two are fighting each other.  I let Nova control my antennas and I manually control my 736 and have no problem doing that.  My opinion.  Phil  KB9CRY
