??? Bob I don't get what you mean here.

I am talking about the AMSAT budget and if we are getting good return 
on our investment.  The problem I have with the money AMSAT spends on 
the ARISS program is most of it is, or was used before the cut to the 
Human Spacer Flight Department, to fly Russians to and from ARISS 
meetings. Why is AMSAT paying to fly the Russian Delegates to 
meetings??  So Bob I guess AMSAT is financing the Russians!!

It is the best "PR" YOU have ever seen.  And your expertise is Public 
Relations?  Not likely.  It is great PR for NASA that's for sure. 
Probably is good PR for Amateur Radio.  AMSAT seems to be lost in the 
story when it's told. But since I have never seen any data that proves 
one way or the other I would rather not speculate too much on "PR" 
value.

Bob if you buy or pay for part of a launch from Russia who are you 
financing?  The Australians? :)
