Wow, with logic like that, I guess getting a ride for AO-40 on ARIANE was
financing EuroSpace?  Or getting a ride on a Russian rocket for our other
AMSATS was financing Russians?

ARISS is a ride for HAM radio on the Space Station and for the use of HAMS
that visit there and for HAMS on the ground.   And it is the BEST PR for
HAM radio I have ever seen.  What is so hard to  understand about that?
