RE: G5400 woes
YES! You have 3 wires going up to the ele rotor. They are labeled E-4.
E-5, and E-6. E-6 is your common. E-4 is your down line, and E-5 is your
up line.
Connect a DMM as close to the rotor as you can get, like the terminals on
the rotor, and have someone in the shack push the buttons. Test the voltage
going up, E-5 red and E-6 black DMM leads. They move the red lead to E-4
and have them press down. If the readings from E-5 and E-4 are the same, it
is your rotor. If not, it is wiring. You already eliminated the control
box.
