Right on Drew, and that is why I have another receiver always tuned to the
beacon whenever I'm on the net....but I reiterate.....I crank up the power
on 435 to stay 10db or more below the beacon....the agc changes, and then
I'll exceed that level. Leila has smacked me before I could possibly reach
the output control, and my reflexes are still pretty good...
And I've observed the same phenomena, net and otherwise....1.2 up solved
the problem for me, but I know all will not choose that route...
