If you look at the AMSAT site, you will find that the next project after Echo is "EAGLE" that is another phase 3 satellite.  You can expedite this project by sending "DONATIONS" earmarked directly for the EAGLE project to AMSAT-NA.  Echo is almost half funded and when that goal is met, the EAGLE project will come off the back burner.  
Enjoy AO-40- I hope to be on the bird as soon as it is in view and the transponders are on while I'm awake and at home!!(Hi, Hi!)
