Hello everyone and a Happy 2004 to all.
I am having some problems with using the az-el rotor with a Labjack/Nova
piggyback and Nova for Windows.
The problem is that the on-screen indication of antenna positions varies
considerably from the actual position and the azimuth rotor does not
track properly with it going to full clockwise position.
I have been in touch with Mike at Nova and am doing some testing and or
that wonder if anyone knows what the maximum voltage on the meter
circuit via the rotor pots should be. The default max seems to be 5.000
V but on measurement the az and el voltages seem to be much higher and
that may be a source of problem.
I have used external pots to test to eliminate problems with the pots in
the rotors
Any advice would be very much appreciated
