RE: Yaesu G-5600B

Arnaldo,
The controller box has two settings to correct for this: The needle has an
offset on the meter it self, this just gives you a zero setting for the
display. The box has two pots for full scale adjustment.
The way to do it, is to turn the control box off, and set the needles to
indicate minimum scale - ie zero. Then turn the box on, and move the antenna
to its maximum travel. Once at the point, using the gain pot adjust it to
match that. At this point your analog display should match the actual
antenna position pretty good.
If it still doesn't, when you look at the needle, move your head left and
right until it aligns properly (joke)
Good luck, happy holidays!

I'm trying to calibrate my rotator (azimuth) but seem to have a problem. I
follow yhe instructions but when I turn 180 deg and try and set the o adj at
the back of the control box I cannot get it to go to 180 deg on the scale.
Any suggestions what I can try.

Many Thanks

Arnaldo
