If the cost to AMSAT worries you, don't use the 800 number. I didn't.

Personally, I'm more concerned with PayPal's intrusive new policies 
about what payments they process may or may not be used to buy, legal 
firearms in particular. What I spend my money on is none of their *&$^% 
business as long as it's legal.
