[amsat-bb] IC-910 audio out to Acc

Can anyone suggest the trick to getting enough audio out of the ACC jack of 
an IC-910 to drive a TNC?

I have set the following:
9600 mode
pins 5/6 to sub band so I get sub audio
FM
NB off

and I get at most about .2V PTP audio which the SPIRIT II and KPC 9612 turn 
their noses up at.

I'd be grateful for suggestions.
(I know this work, I have one at home that works fine . . .)
