RE: (Slightly) Off Topic: TS2000 TNC & APRS

According to the owner's manual, since the built-in TNC was "designed to
work with the Packet Cluster Tune ... and Sky Commander II+ ... functions,
some of the enhanced TNC commands may not be available."

The TNC does have KISS mode, so if you have a program that requires KISS,
you should be able to use the TS2000 for APRS.

Subject: [amsat-bb] (Slightly) Off Topic: TS2000 TNC & APRS

Hi All,

Slightly Off Topic, but Just realised that the TS2000 has a built in
TNC. Yet some sources are saying that it cant be used for APRS (and
thus the APRS birds)

Anyone here know why ?
