Thx for the advice Emily,
  the learning curve has steepened a little more, I had intended to home 
brew a patch feed but I'm told
they are a little hard to tune, so I'd settled on a helix which was 
suggested to be a little more forgiving
of errors..... but in view of ur comments, I might not get away with any 
error using a 600mm offset

The "six stubbie" approach might not be the way to go, ..........might have 
to go and imbibe one while I
consider the options
