  The antenna gain of dish system is not based on how much gain
the feed has. You should choose your feed by beam width but not
with gain.
  Usually the patch feed has about 120 degree -10dB beam width and
good for center-feed dish, and 5-6 turn helix has much more narrow
and good for offset dish.
