Actually, it's a pretty good time to be around DC. Congress will be
working toward recess so they can go and campaign and most political
action, both Presidential and Congressional, will out around the country
and not here. Do come!

The original (1976) Air and Space Museum, indeed, is a great place to
visit. Added to that is the new Annex next to IAD - about 700,000 ft**2 of
real stuff (the Smithsonian doesn't take models) including the original
shuttle, Enterprise, an SR-71 flown in from San Francisco (in 61 minutes!),
the first Concorde, the Enola Gay, and so much more which was kept in
storage. Well worth the visit.

Come join in and be part of it. Remember, this is YOUR nation's
capital. Easy to get here. All 22 Smithsonian museums are free (no cost
to get to knowledge) as are many other attractions. Come and ENJOY!!
