Big Dish AO-40

Hello to all,
Is anyone out there using a TVRO dish for both transmit/receive?
My question is this,
Is it absolutely necessary to have an adjustment for elevation, or can I
just set up the dish for the seasonal offset to the Clarke belt( +/- 9 deg
or so).
I have investigated a few leads, such as the WB4APR website, and the cover
article of the July 2003 QST.
Both these items use the big dish only for receiving, not for transmitting.
If anyone is using their dish with the actuator arm mover(TVRO), to move the
dish across the arc, with no elevation correction, I would appreciate any
tips or comments.
Thanks to all, 73 and best of health and happiness to all.
73, Keith kg2ix
