Since PCsat is OPS normal for a few days, and has even been configured as a
normal APRS RELAY-WIDE digi, everyone is invited to QSY their APRS mobiles
this evening to 145.825 to see what happens. Operate normally. Do not be
agressive. To minimize confusion. Delete all messages and stations in
your LIST so you start with a clean slate.
Times for the USA are:
PDT MDT CDT EDT
---- ---- ---- ----
1245 1345 Alaska, Canada, New Egland
1220 1320 1425 1525 Alaska, Canada, Northeast USA
1405 1505 1610 1710 Seattle and Eastern USA
1550 1650 1755 1855 All of USA
1735 1835 1930 Wesern USA
1920 Central calif
Alaska actually gets about 7 passes in a row!
Thanks to Steve DIggs and Doc Larsen and John SImon in VK land, who have
kept it commanded this weekend.
And also for your Morning Commute on Monday. Do something different. QSY
to 145.825 and see if you copy anything. Mid Latitudes of the USA will
get about 3 passes of PCsat between about 0630 to 1030 your local time.
Notice how the passes are in the morning and evening and this is why PCsat
has almost full sun most of its orbit.
PCsat digipeats via RELAY, WIDE, W3ADO-1, APRSAT and PCSAT-1 if it stays
configured as we like.. Thus, it should operate like any APRS digi
