Yes, it most certainly is. 29.450 MHz is in the middle of the mode "A"
downlink pass band. AO-07 is active and works well. It is unpredictable, of
course.

When you hear these stations, you could try to listen for the AO-07 beacon
on 29.502 MHz. You will be easily able to hear the Doppler effect shifting
the frequency.

I frequently call when the satellite is overhead ZL. Some days it is using
mode "A" and at other times mode "B". Unfortunately, there are almost no
stations active on mode "A" down here.
