Hi All
Just put a signal through SO-50.
Tasman sea pass this afternoon. S-5 on 436.7875MHz
This appears to be 12.5kHz lower than published frequency
of 436.795 and 436.800MHz. (comments please)
I used an uplink Yaesu FT-470 handie on (4watts) using 67Hz CTCSS
to a half wave whip. UHF RX using a 15dB preamp 1.3db NFand a double
half wave whip to a Yaesu FT-790II. Very workable.
Looking for contacts over the weekend.
73, John ZL2TWS
