There are 209 stns in JA who can QRV on AO-40.



Hello This is Yoshi JF6BCC.

  Mr. Taya JS1XGS(JA0IO) tried to count how many JA stations can QRV
or had QRV before on AO-40 with collecting QSO logs from 18 JA active
hams. Here is the result.

   JH4HZN, JA6PL and JS1XGS. Total 19 JA active hams on AO-40.

  Comment from JS1XGS;
    When an DL ham tried to count how many station on AO-40 at end of
  2001, There were only 61 stations had reported in JA. Now the number
  is one 3 times of before. Still there is no avtivity in some prefictures
  so we JA AO-40 guys try to extend this pleasure hardly.

  Comment from JF6BCC:
    Thanks Taya. This will be most certain number of JA hams who can
  QRV on AO-40 now. It had past almost 2 years already after the first
  project to count AO-40 stations in 2001. I hope to see how many hams
  are also in another countries now HiHi.
