Re: Which is better: TS-2000 or FT-847



If you wish to operate 1.2GHz, the module has to be factory installed, no
DIY.  You must either order the 2000 with the module; send it to Kenwood to
have one installed after purchase; or use a transverter.  On the other hand,
the 847 has no 1.2GHz capability at all; you're only option is a
transverter.
