FS: Sattrak IV

I have a like-new SatTrak IV for sale (within US only).

New: (without cables and PS): $360
Price: (with cables and PS): $270 (plus shipping, no handling charge, Postal
Money Order)

This is the ultimate in rotator and radio control for satellite operation.
Unlike other rotator controllers that heavily depend on the host PC
operating properly, this unit operates on its own. You download KEPS into it
from your PC and it runs on its own. Just before a sat of interest starts
its pass, the unit brings the antennas from their parked position to the az
of rising. It then tracks the sat throughout its pass, adjusting supported
radios for Doppler shift. After the pass, it places the antennas back in
their parked position.
This particular unit is configured for ICOM radios and has the cables
required to control an IC-821 included. It saw minimal use at the W98ITU
station here in Minneapolis during the ITU Plenipotentiary conference. This
unit was factory assembled and a firmware upgrade is available for it from
the amsat website for Y2K corrections. (This has not been installed in this
unit.) I'm also including a spare set of keypad numbers, documentation set,
and a wall-mounted PS.
A tremendous unit that is no longer available but still in use in many
top-notch stations. Fully compatible with Yaesu 5400B rotators.
