Re: AO-07 Reception report



Made good contact on AO-7 with WA6DIR and KE6OAG, UTC 0239 - 0246, 11JUL03.
Very good signals all around - just a slight warble on the downlink.  System
here is FT-847 with a 20-element KLM 2m antenna and homebrew (not by me)
44-element 70cm antenna using Icom preamps.  Signals were S7+ throughout
most of the QSO.

Sure is nice to be back on the birds after my one year absence.  Sure do
like those mode B birds...
