All i was thinking of was a name and a callsign. Nothing more. You've put more personal information out on the web with this one message than I wanted on a list that didn't even need to be web-accessible. A printed version would be fine. Make it available only by mail to members only. Spammers have a lot better methods to use than manually compiling a list of 4000 hams and trying to figure out possible email addresses when they can get probably in excess of 100,000 off of a QRZ.com CD or website. You yourself have a webpage listed on qrz, with an unaltered email address listed at the bottom of your page.
Do you still oppose even listing your name and call as being a member? No email address, no phone number, no address, nothing but name and call. I respect your right to remain anomynous, but if checking a box next time you renew is too much for you I'm a bit perplexed. I think the benefits of a members list, even minus the opted out members, outweighs any perceived "risk".

Note to BoD: If I have to opt-out of having any of my personal
information
from being published, then it will be much easier to opt-out of sending in
the check for renewal.
