RE: FW: Sat rigs

I use the ICOM IC-910H with the L band module. My run to the antenna (10'/3M
TVRO dish) is a little long but I find that I have an uplink signal on L
band that is 6-10 dB above my noise floor. I use 1/2" LDF4-50 in a 90' run
to a W0LMD design multi-band patch antenna on the dish. No amp is needed in
this setup.

Subject: Sat rigs

Hi Everyone,

I have been using a Yaesu FT 847 for some time with good success.

I am now thinking of a rig which will give me the option of a 1.2 gig
uplink also.

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions from personal experience
