W1AW/5 Special Event at ARRL National Convention 20-22 June 2003

There will be a W1AW/5 Special Event Station set up at the ARRL National
Convention that is being held in conjunction with Ham-Com in Arlington, TX, this
weekend, 20-22 June 2003. Operation on AO-40 is planned for Friday, 20 June,
from 1700 UTC until the transponder turns off (hopefully at MA 180 by this
time). Operation will resume on Saturday, 21 June, at 1230 UTC and contine until
transponder shut down. If the schedule is extended to 180, the time on Friday
will be 1700 - 2200 UTC and the Saturday time will be 1230 - 1700 UTC.
Friday's Footprint will be the Americas and the Pacific including all of Australia.
Saturday's Footprint will be the Americas, Africa, and Western Europe.

Operation will also include the Saturday and Sunday morning passes of SO-50
and UO-14. We hope to see everyone "on the Birds" from W1AW/5 via Satellite.
