That is EXACTLY correct, Drew. I posted a response a few mins ago that gives
the procedure step by step. It couldn't be any easier. (Although I used
435.667, 1 khz is not going to be a problem)

This is the kind of new user tip that actually helps, rather than confuses
people.

I have charts and all sorts of things ....don't use them any more...they
serve no purpose once you understand the magic number of 435.667 TX
frq...tune beacon with VFO Tracking off, once beacon is found, turn tracking
vfo back on...bingo.

Ya don't need a chart (which you will lose). One only needs to memorize ONE
NUMBER 435.667. Put it and the procedure on a 3x5 card for a few days and
you will never need notes again. (on this bird/mode)
