And to all the other stations operating on the birds, some of us just
like to go out
and operate away from home.  It's a lot of fun to go out and give the
guys a new
grid or state or county!

As far as "vacation" is concerned, heck, I like to do ham radio, and
doing it on 
vacation is real nice. You have time to devote to what you like to do,
and do it
in a different setting.
