Hi Guys,
The discussion of RTG's shook lose a snippet that I read a couple of
months ago. Didn't the mars rover that NASA/JPL had running around (on
mars) have radioisotope heaters in it's electronics box? They apparently
allowed the rover to continue running after the lander died (or so it
was thought). If you can get the idea past DoE it may be one way of
keeping a lunar amateur radio station warm enough to get through the night.
