This not a question about which is better, DOS or Linux. I'm looking
for options and opinions regard running PB/PG running two similar but
different OS's. The computer will not have a GUI installed, meaning
no Microsoft Windows or X-Windows. just command line. The reason is
that this is a super low buck venture here. A 586 with 64M of ram.
MS-DOS 6.22 is probably the best thing to come out of Redmond but I
know of the stableness Linux is legendary. Does PB/PG run better
under MS-DOS or Linux, or is it that there really isn't a difference
between the two. Which is easier to install? To configure?
I would consider a X-Windows application but not MS-Windows because
of security and stability concerns but would rather stick with the
command line approach. Thanks and take care.
