Re: Cross Boom

Ben,

I'm at present using a wooden cross boom that I purchased at Menards. It's a
hardwood clothes closet rod. It has been up for about three years. A couple
of coats of white latex paint and your already to go.

I also purchased a solid fiberglass rod (1.25") from:

www.mgs4u.com

for $39.00. The shipping was reasonable. I think the total bill was <
$50.00. It's still on the garage floor waiting for the snow to leave. It has
to be IR protected, and they tell you how to paint the rod on their website
at:

www.mgs4u.com/maxtips.htm

Good luck,

Mike
