DL2AM amplifier and TS-2000

Hi,¡¡
I´m using with success my "old" TS-790 transceiver (with the 1.2 Ghz unit
added) joined to a DL2AM "Philip Prinz") 1.2 Ghz amplifier for my uplink to
AO-40.
I added also the 1.2 Ghz unit to my new Kenwood TS-2000 and I would like to
attach the DL2AAM amplifier to it.
I know I must attach the amplifier to the EXTERNAL CONNECTOR rear
jack..going to the 28 menu...now into SUB and look for the 28E to activate
the 1.2Ghz relay 1-10ms,2-20ms..or OFF)..etc,etc...

All seems to work.I adjust TX power on TS2000 to 1 watt with the PWR key and
make measures on my REVEX SWR/PWR meter..Now I change power to 5
Watts...SAME
OUTPUT LEVEL¡¡¡ ???..increment to 10 watts ..identical measures¡¡.???.
With the TS790 all seems to work correctly..each measure is right in
correspondence with the power.. but not with the TS-2000.I´m afraid I´m
wrong with some connection...
What I`m doing wrong???..I´m loosing something???.Could someone using same
equipment than I (TS2000 and DL2AM 1.2Ghz linear amplifier) send me the
right connection and adjustements between linear and transceiver???..

Many thanks in advance...
