I agree with the use of phonetics, but please use standard phonetics !  
This last W/E during the 160 meter contest with bad weather was a true 
case for the need for standard phonetics !  Too many times ops like to 
get get cutesy with acronyms.  The invariable first response is - uh, 
again ??
