PCSAT is coming back into full sun and since about 2210z on 11 Feb is
holding charge through eclipse. During that orbit, John Simon, VK2XGJ
send a low-pwer command and she held it..
In about 3 days she will be in full sun and fully usable in all modes for
probably 3 weeks.
We are considering turning on both of her PBBS systems for special
experimentation. One of them has a special reserved uplink channel, so if
you have any special demosntrations, or special HAM radio events that
might be able to use this facility over the next 3 weeks, let us konw.
Remember, with 1.5 years of deep-cycling her batteries 15 times a day, it
is amazing she is still working fine... so enjoy it while you can...
Passes are in the mornings and evenings (that's why she is in full sun, as
her 63 deg orbit is aligned with the day/night line for the next few
weeks)...
