Double Messages

Those receiving double messages might check their email client. Most clients
default to downloading all messages from the server before deleting the
messages. Depending on your client, you should be able to change that to delete
each message after downloading from server. That way should you have a lot of
messages to download and it gets to the very last one and disconnects, you will
not download them a second time the next time you go to download your messages.
Or, you can also toggle only download new messages only. This will keep the old
messages that were downloaded before on your ISP's server. The problem with
this is that you could exceed any predetermined quotas if you don't at some
point go and clear those downloaded messages that never got cleared.
This problem would occur more for those on dialup connections than for those on
high speed connections.
If it were the AMSAT-bb causing the duplication, then all the messages would be
duplicated, not just a few.
