I agree....
On SSB, reducing power is as simple as reducing the mic gain or even just
backing out of the microphone...on CW you might have to reduce voltage to
your amplifier...if you have an RF gain better yet....either way you can
always put an attenuator in line on the transmit side...
Why is this not obvious?.....UO-40 isn't designed to support the appliance
operator who might need this kind of information.
